The Dragon Hotel & Restaurant is a luxury hotel located in the beautiful village of Betws y Coed in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

The hotel has 12 fully en-suite rooms, 6 of which are in the old building with the other 6 in the attached chalet style extension.

The hotel has its own onsite restaurant which serves a variety of dishes from the al a carte menu including both local dishes and foreign choices.

An excellent choice of wine is available as well.

The Dragon Hotel is located within the village of Betws y Coed and the centre of the village is just a short walk away.

Betws y Coed is one of the jewels of North Wales and is a very popular location for tourists with countryside walks and beautiful scenery. The village is located within the Snowdonia National Park and has a number of exceptional attractions located within the village including Swallow Falls and The Conwy Valley Railway Museum.

Mount Snowdon is just a few miles from the hotel to the west with the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Also of interest are the slate mines at Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Directions to the Dragon Hotel and Restaurant

Find the Dragon Hotel and Restaurant is very easy as we are located on the A5 about half a mile to the west of the village centre.

From the A470 cross Waterloo Bridge and follow the A5 through the village centre. Once you have passed the centre you'll see a row of houses on the left of the road and the hotel is located next to these.

Travelling from the west go past Swallow Falls and continue downhill towards the Betws y Coed. We are located approximately half a mile after the Miners Arms Pub on the right towards the village centre and the Dragon Hotel and Restaurant is located on the right hand side of the road.

The hotel is approximately 10 minutes walk from Betws y Coed train station. Cross the village green and follow the main A5 road through the village centre. After leaving the centre we are located on the left hand side of the road.
